About Us

We are a Scout Group who believe is the basics of the scouting tradition.  In our meetings we build bivvy's, cook on camp fires and learn skills for life.  We are also fortunate to have a rifle range and 2 fully trained marshalls.

About Us

FUN!!

Adventure

Adventure

We have superb grounds with scramble nests, a tightrope and much more.  We encourage our Scouts to get as involved as they can in all our group activities

Adventure

Adventure

Adventure

Climbing trees, building dens, putting up tents and night hikes are just a few of the activities we get our young people involved in.

Community

Adventure

At the 19th, we have a strong sense of community - working with the RRA on litter picks, we hold many fun-raising events aimed at our local community.  We also support the Purley Food Hub on a regular basis

Badges

We believe a Scout will never grow out of wanting an arm-full of badges, so although Scout badges are harder to get, we try to work on as many as possible.

Camps

Every year we go on a Troop summer camp, which includes all sections and Scouts are encouraged to come and join in. However, we also host a weekend Scout camp in our hut grounds at least once a year, where we put up our own tents, cook over campfires, sing songs, and play games.
